PC環境更新計画(4) ごろ寝マシン新設計画(？) ～ その背景
最後はエイプリルフールらしくおばか全開で。
やる気は無いのに不必要に手を出してしまう
悪い癖のせいで、現在それ以外にも遊休状態に
なってしまっているマシンがあります。
そのひとつがDNRH-001。少し前に
一部で話題になった、小型で低消費電力&低発熱、
WinXPまでついてお得な低価格というネットトップを
少し先取りしたかのようなマシンです。
こんなマシンですから、基本的にパワーアップとか
考えないようにしています(メモリを512MBにだけは
するかも)が、用途についてはさてどうした物か。
サーバ目的のマシンもある、ノートもあるし
もうそれ以上は必要無いよね？
多分必要ないと思います。本当は母親用＆台所用に
渡してあげてもよいのですが、いかんせん
うちの母親はパソコンどころかビデオの予約録画
すら嫌がるような機械アレルギー。
さて、ならどうしましょ？
話変わってPC更新の話とは異なり、最近別の問題が。
去年の今頃ですから大体1年ほど前でしようか。
Acecombat6のためについにXbox360を購入しまして。
んで、去年秋ごろからは本格的にオンライン対戦も
するようになったのですが。これがもう楽しくて
楽しくて。
ただ、欠点が。マイクに向かって話す声が
私の場合どうも無意識のうちに妙に大きくなるらしく。
家族からは『夜にでかい声でしゃべるな』と連日
苦情が殺到。
上手く解決するには、家族の生活スペースと
最も離れた場所となる現在寝ている場所で
ゲームが出来る環境を整えるしかないかなぁ、
なんて事を考えるのです。
